Home Trends Gooseneck Desk Lamp TB-170A
40w Incandescent (11-05)
Fixture's Information.
My mom gave me this for my room a long ago. I used all sort of lamps in it including CFLs, Incandescent, Halogens, Metal Halide* and High Pressure Sodium*.
*I put the ballast on the cord in order to start the lamps and run it.
Fixture's Size.
This is me again holding it to show the size. Weight about 2.3 pounds.
ID Tag.
This is the only tag on the fixture. The one on the base is the barcode. You can use only 40w lamps on it. (Or less if using CFLs.
Lamp Included.
The lamp that I bought for the fixture. It didn't come with one. In case you were wondering. It's 40w.
Lamp Holder.
The gray lines around the lamp holder is result from aluminium bases of so many lamps being used in it.
Switch.
Simple On/Off switch.
Head.
The head of the fixture where the lamp lives. Its finish is brushed steel. Bit scratched since I had magnets stuck on it. The base's worse.
Over Base.
I used to have magnets stuck on the base. Now those magnets are stored elsewhere. Too late now since they scratched the finish.
Under Base.
Here's the barcode and the UL sticker. This black felt smell awful. I tried to remove it. It came off easily but the smell is still there. Put it back on. My hands smelled the same thing afterward. Not gonna mess with it again.
Lamp Included Lit.
Here's the lamp lit up. Nice ain't it?
